The East Riding Rural Life project at Skidby Mill was set up in September 2006 at the same time as the Heritage Volunteer project at Goole, with the help of money from the Heritage Lottery Fund.

The project has now finished but the team of volunteers is still involved with the mill in a variety of ways, including researching and setting up exhibitions, room stewarding and practical help around the mill. The exhibitions that are researched by the volunteers are often put up at the Treasure House in Beverley as well as in the mill itself.

A list of the past exhibitions that have been produced by the mill volunteers is available in further resources.

If you are interested in volunteering at Skidby Mill please contact us using the details in the contact us page to discuss the options.
