Portraiture course

27 September 2018 - 01 November 2018 Beverley Art Gallery Led by artist Esther Cawley this 6-week course makes reference to works in the Art Gallery collection. Sessions will explore portraiture through devices such as composition, tone, colour and light, working directly from the model.

22 November 2018 Treasure House This talk by Steve Erskine of the Green Howards Museum tells the fascinating history of how the museum helped to identify human remains found on the Somme. Thanks to their work, Henry Parker, who had been lost for nearly 100 years, now has a grave.
