Free of charge

Car parking

There are a number of car parks in Beverley that are within easy reach of the Guildhall. The closest is the Grayburn Lane car park off Lairgate.

Disability access

There is disabled access to the ground floor only. Disabled parking is available nearby on Cross Street and Lord Roberts Road.

Toilets are available on the ground floor. There is a small retail point selling booklets from the exhibitions and historic photographs of Beverley.

Activities for children

There are children’s activities in the form of trails to encourage use of observation skills. Each of the rooms also has a toy basket to keep younger children amused while the adults browse the room. Children also enjoy ‘seeking the beavers’. More information can be found by going to the Children and Families page.

Visits by school groups are welcome, and there is no charge for these. More information on provision for schools is available on the Guildhall learning page.

Guided tours for groups

Guided tours with the curator can be provided for groups from Tuesday to Friday by prior arrangement. See the For Adults section of the Learning page for more information.
